Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone, this is my first blog post on my new blog.  I am new at this, so I will be learning new things as I go along.  I do believe you can leave a comment if you like.  Hope you enjoy.

Do you get a lot of Holiday cards each year with photos on them?  Can't stand the thought of throwing them out?  I know I can't.  Families take a lot of time to get that holiday photo taken, creating a card and then mailing it to you.  So where do you put them after the holidays?  If they are a 4x6 photo or larger and it's a photo of a loved one, definitely buy a frame and display it.  Have too many for that, or get a new one every year?  I've purchased the small 4x6 or 5x7 photo album, just for holiday photos.  Each year after the holidays, I take my cards down, and put all the photo cards in the album.  If they are a 4x8 card, usually the photo is 4x6, I cut the name off the bottom and tape it to the back of the photo.  You can add the year and the age of the children if you like. The small photo album doesn't take up much space, and usually holds 100 photos.  You now have a record of friends and family through the years, and you can display the album during the holidays.  Wouldn't it be fun for visitors to see their old holiday photos at your house when they come to visit?

Deb H. - Hi Angela - love this idea! I buy a larger album, so I can show a few different families through the years!
Chris - This is a perfect solution for the manyChristmas photo cards we receive and yet you can continue to enjoy them ,and have the photos stored properly. Thanks for this great idea! I never could throw any of those cards away!
