It's been over a week since I attended the Philadelphia Flower Show, and we've had 2 snowfalls since!  Well it really put me in the mood for Spring.  On top of the beautiful flowers the theme this year was Art. One of my favorite subjects.  They had displays that represented Chagall, Mondrian, Monet, Kadinsky and more.  The Philadelphia Flower Show, is one of the largest in the U.S.  It does not disappoint.  There were even acrobats in the air.  It is held in the Philadelphia Convention Center, and different gardens are created throughout the center.  The flowers are all real and blooming (except the paper ones in the lobby).  They are forced to bloom, which is amazing they can do that.  This time instead of a theme on gardens, they worked together with some museums and the gardeners created their interpretation of the art.  As amazing as it was I think I liked the other themes better.  In the past I've seen gardens that transcended you to Italy, with a real gondola in a canal, and Island theme, with a tropical paridise, as well as English gardens, a tour of Europe, and Hawaii!  Just a few themes I remember. They were all beautiful and the creation of each garden is art itself.  I enjoyed this year's show, (even the paper flowers) but the difference is I felt like I was taken to another place, when the theme was on a location.  Still going through the photos, but here's a few you might enjoy!
